Michael Street
Co-owner/Master Technician
From a young age I was obsessed with cars. I used to read 'The Fastest Cars From around the World' as a bedtime story, I can remember the iconic red Ferrari F40 on the cover. A number of my family members were in and around the motor industry and I was determined to follow in their footsteps. During my younger years I was intrigued with the inner workings of things, I would get a RC car for Christmas and by Boxing Day I'd have the internals stripped to investigate how'd they'd work. As grew I would build go-karts, modify push bikes, fix skate boards and quickly became my friends go to guy to repair anything. I started working on cars at the age of 13 where I worked at Hillmans Motor Services as a Saturday boy. Little did I know my father had asked Kelvin (the owner) to give me a hard time to put me off becoming a mechanic. It backfired and I came home each week grinning ear to ear. I then did a stint at the Charles Trent's DIY yard and used to offer removal of parts from scrap cars for a fee. I secured an Apprenticeship in 2003 At Meridien Majestic where we specialised in Chrysler. Jeep, Dodge and Alfa Romeo, along with prestige cars. By 2007 I became an MOT tester and by 2010 qualified as a Dealer Expert Technician (Jeep) and an Alfa Romeo Master Engineer (Master Technician). I have had periods of work on Jaguar Land Rover, Toyota and the last 5 years at a local Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, Mini and Smart Specialist. I live in the Ensbury Park and Redhill area and when the opportunity came up to start my own Garage I couldn't refuse. Which leads us here......
